We appreciate the importance of energy efficiency. Through our services we aim to improve the thermal performance of your timber sash windows by sympathetically restoring them, using traditional carpentry techniques – combined with modern, sympathetic materials. I wish to strike an appropriate balance between energy conservation and building conservation.
Double Glazing & Draughtproofing
Never before has energy efficiency been more important to us all. Restoration and draught proofing will drastically improve the energy performance of your property, reducing your energy bills, saving you money and above all saving the planet.
If you wish to maintain the traditional and architectural identity of your property while looking to further improve thermal performance and reduce energy bills then we can modify your existing sash windows to become efficient double glazed units.
Period Door Repair & Restoration
We are often asked to rescue period front doors that have fallen into disrepair. As the first impression of your property, it’s essential to restore them to their former glory.
We cut back the rotten timbers and treated the remaining wood. New wood is then spliced in and finished with a durable elastic repair compound ready for painting.
We love the welcoming end results as do our clients.
